Browser-based robot simulation — train arms, drones, quadrupeds, and self-driving cars with no local setup.
SimArena is a hosted robot simulation platform by CodecFlow. It gives you four ready-to-run simulation environments for training and testing AI control algorithms — all through a browser, no local install required.
**Four simulation modules:** - **Robot Arm (Pick & Place):** UR5, UR10, Franka Panda. Supports PPO, SAC, behavioral cloning, DAgger. Configurable control frequency 10–100 Hz. - **Quadruped Locomotion:** Train legged robots across flat ground, rough terrain, stairs, and slopes. Configurable gait patterns and control strategies. - **Drone Navigation:** 3D obstacle avoidance and path planning in dynamic environments with static and moving obstacles. - **Autonomous Vehicles:** Urban driving sim with real traffic, pedestrians, and weather conditions for AV policy training.
**Who it's for:** RL researchers testing control algorithms, robotics engineers who want fast iteration without standing up ROS + Isaac Sim, AV and drone teams needing configurable scenario environments, and students or labs without access to hardware rigs.
Connect via WebSocket, configure via JSON schema, and run training or evaluation loops directly in the browser. SimArena handles the infrastructure — you focus on the algorithm.
